Congratulations to our 2020 Dublin One City One Book author Christine Dwyer Hickey who has won two major literary awards this month! Christine won the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction for her  latest novel The Narrow Land (Atlantic Books) And on Saturday she was awarded the inaugural Dalkey Literary Award for Novel of the Year – also for The Narrow Land. And congratulations to Sinéad Gleeson who won the Dalkey Literary Award for Emerging Writer at Dalkey Book Festival for her debut collection of essays Constellations. Sinéad is the editor of The Long Gaze Back which was our 2018 Dublin One City One Book choice.
